1. Catherine Despres(abt 1639) married abt 1655 England to Charles Lawlor (1633 London,England) had a child Catherine Lawlor (1657London,England) married Louis Badaillac (abt 1657). We know Catherine and sister Magdeleine had the same maternal grparents Maurille and Jeanne. Catherine arrived in Quebec as a \"Kings daughter\" but changed her last name to De Lalore. Both Magdeleine and Catherine were both orphaned but had an inheritence.

Catherine DeLalore was born about 1654 in London, England, the daughter of Englishman Charles DeLolore (or Lawlor) and Catherine Despres, a French woman. After her father\'s death, Catherine came to Canada in 1671 at about age 17, bringing a dowry estimated at 300 livres.
On 17 October 1671, Catherine signed a marriage contract with Louis Lavallee, drawn up by notary Becquet, but it was annulled and later in 1671 or in 1672 Catherine married Louis Badaillac dit Laplante in Sorel and was given the King\'s Gift of 50 livres. Louis was born about 1644 in the diocese of Perigueux, Perigord, though his parents are unknown. He arrrived in Canada on 18 June 1665 as a soldier with the Froment Company of the Carignan Regiment and was confirmed 20 May 1668 at Chambly.
Catherine and Louis settled at Sorel and had eight children. Marie-Catherine was baptized 22 June 1673 at Sorel, followed by Marie-Madeleine (28 July 1675), Anne-Elisabeth (24 October 1677) and Louis (04 April 1680). Louis later became an engage Ouest from 27 May 1701 to 10 July 1703, traveling to Detroit. The family can be found in the 1681 census at Sorel, neighbors of fellow Fille du Roi Anne-Elisabeth de Tarragon and her family. Son Gilles was baptized there on 04 May 1682 (with Anne-Elisabeth de Tarragon as his godmother), followed by Therese (21 August 1685), Claire (born about 1687) and Catherine (04 July 1690).
Catherine DeLalore died between daughter Catherine\'a baptism on 04 July 1690 and 14 June 1694, when daughter Marie-Madeleine married Bernard Delomay. Louis Badaillac dit Laplante died between 16 July 1702 and 04 January 1705.
